Whiskey and poetry

100 days of remembrance

April is back
Rwanda remembers
Those rainy days, the nights that didn’t see the day

Baby cries over the green hills
Rivers carrying bodies
Blood streams running down mountains
Rwanda walks remembering all those souls that lost their lives over injustice
The 1994 Tutsi Genocide took away our dear ones.

How happy would we have been to dance and laugh with you

Today we write about our past

We want to let the world know that what happened is real
We remember to say “NEVER AGAIN “
